Longtime Cape Elizabeth High School coach, teacher and athletic director Keith Weatherbie, now retired, was recently given the Sonny Noel President’s Award at the 2014 Maine Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The award honors Noel, the late, longtime General Chairman of the Hall of Fame. Weatherbie, who was a baseball and basketball standout at Cape Elizabeth before playing baseball at the University of Maine-Portland (now the University of Southern Maine), was joined at the ceremony by (from left) daughter, Donna, and sons, David and Deron.
