I thoroughly enjoyed William Gross’s article on semantics, i.e., should CO2 be called a “pollutant” or not. I just wasn’t sure of the point of the article.
Mother Nature does not give a hoot as to what you or I call carbon dioxide. In fact, she doesn’t even speak English! In other words, our actions may influence Mother Nature. Our words do not. Well, maybe they do. We certainly are producing a lot of hot air with them!
