SPRINGVALE — Read & Romp, for 3- to 6-year-olds and their caregivers, takes place at 10 a.m. on Mondays, through Dec. 1, at Springvale Public Library, 443 Main St. This free program features a variety of stories, finger plays, songs and activities. No registration is required.
Storytime will not take place on Oct. 13. The annual Halloween storytime and costume parade will be Oct. 27.
As well, Baby Rhyme Time, aimed at parents and caregivers, and their children younger than 3 years old, takes place at 10 a.m. on Thursdays. Be ready to be led as a group through an active and appropriately brief program of fun, early literacy activities. This free program does not require registration, just drop-in. Baby Rhyme Time will not meet on Nov. 27.
