Republican Susan Collins has earned our respect, our praise and our vote for U.S. senator.

In the din of partisan bickering between Congress and the White House, Susan Collins remains the voice of reason and provides some much-needed leadership both within her party and across the aisle. Sen. Collins serves as a reminder to young women in this state that women can not only perform in a once-male-dominated Congress but also can excel.

Considered one of the most influential senators in Washington, Susan Collins gives Maine a strong voice in the Senate. Her political clout and unyielding advocacy for Bath Iron Works and its workers have earned her the support of labor and management. Once again, Susan Collins bringing the two sides together for the common good.

Please join me in voting for Susan Collins on Nov. 4.
