We cannot afford another four years of stubbornness that drove away offshore wind developments and furthered our reliance on fossil fuels.
We need a governor who understands the value of collaboration when it comes to bringing clean energy alternatives and jobs to Maine.
Establishing a Maine Energy Finance Authority will encourage partnerships that will capitalize on our state’s immense renewable energy potential, creating more affordable options for residents and businesses.
Moreover, investing in diversified and locally produced sources of energy will create more manufacturing and technology jobs that this state desperately needs. This can happen under the independent leadership of Eliot Cutler.
It’s not enough to say you support a clean energy future; it’s about having a realistic plan to do so from Day One in office. That’s why I stand by Eliot Cutler for governor.
