As the campaign season moves forward and all the chatter fills our TV screens, Mainers should be made aware of something pointed out by The New York Times: Democrat Shenna Bellows, the former lobbyist and current candidate for the U.S. Senate, has been scored the most liberal office-seeker in the entire country. That’s right – the entire country. That is important for voters to know.
At a time when reasoned, centrist lawmakers are need more than ever, Ms. Bellows would add to the partisan bickering that has brought us the gridlock we all so abhor.
We have Republican Susan Collins there now, and we should keep her in this seat. She’s proven to be reasoned and centered – just what we need.
