Scarborough’s Morgan Sewall, 17, earned the silver medal in the senior ladies’ division at the recent New England Regional Figure Skating championships in Burlington, Vermont and qualified for the sectionals championship Nov. 18-22 in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Sewall qualified for sectionals for the third year in a row. Other local skaters who took part at regionals included Cape Elizabeth’s Patricia Janick, Falmouth’s Ally Huard and Julia Gilman, Freeport’s Isabel Peredy, Tessa Peredy and Veronica Tarr, Portland’s Hope Carroll and Scarborough’s Eden Larsen.
