I don’t know when I’ve ever felt more strongly about the importance of a Maine election than I do now, and the opportunity that independent Eliot Cutler offers us to pull Maine out of the “good enough” doldrums that we’ve been in at least as long as I can remember.
He is the only principled and honest candidate, and the only candidate who has thought deeply enough and has sufficient intellectual horsepower to develop a detailed – and strategic – plan for moving the state forward.
If everyone who believes Eliot Cutler would be the best governor votes for him, he will win, and shouldn’t we vote for the best? We deserve better than the choices the Republican and Democratic parties are offering us.
