With final vote totals reported Wednesday, incumbent Janice E. Cooper won re-election to the House District 47 seat with 55 percent of the vote.

Democrat Cooper, 68, a retired attorney from Yarmouth, had 55 percent of the vote early Wednesday morning.

Richard Vinton Snow, 55, a business owner from Yarmouth, challenged her as a Republican and got 45 percent of the vote.

The district includes Chebeague Island, Long Island and Yarmouth.
