The first-ever Southern Maine girls’ middle school volleyball tournament was held last week at Falmouth High School. Teams from Falmouth, Cape Elizabeth, Scarborough, Windham and Yarmouth participated. The tournament was design to provide middle school players new opportunities to learn and play volleyball, which is a fast growing sport in Maine at both the middle and high school levels.
