The elections are now over meaning those annoying television ads have gone away and now people can get back to normal, whatever that may be for each of us.
I want to thank everyone who supported and voted for me in this most recent election. It was indeed an honor to be chosen to represent you in the Maine Senate. This was the largest margin of victory I have ever experienced, which is humbling and means people of all political parties and philosophical persuasions joined together in making their decision – that means a great deal to me.
Such an outcome also brings with it a huge responsibility that I accept with great pride.
These are troubling times and political infighting seems to be escalating, however I’m determined to work hard for everyone to make things better for the people in my senate district and the state of Maine.
