A 33-year-old Biddeford woman is in serious condition at Maine Medical Center after she was hit in on Elm Street by an 87-year-old man driving a 2007 Lincoln MKX.

Jodie McCrea was crossing the road wearing dark clothing at 5:08 p.m. Monday in front of 432 Elm St., which is also Route 1, police said.

Raymond Audie, of Saco, was driving south when his car hit McCrea, police said.

No charges have been filed in the case, which remains under investigation.
