SACO — The city recently received a Safety Enhancement Grant of nearly $1,200 from the Maine Municipal Association.

The Safety Enhancement Grant and Scholarship program offers financial incentives to members of the Maine Municipal Association Worker’s Compensation Fund.

The grants are used to purchase safety equipment or services that reduce the frequency and severity of workplace injuries.
