A light coating of snow was left in inland York County this morning, but temperatures are forecast to rise into the 30s and 40s over the weekend, and sunshine is in the forecast for Sunday. While Maine is experiencing mild weather ”“ with even better temperatures on the way ”“ the West Coast is being slammed by some dangerous weather. According to the Associated Press, the storm system is blamed for two deaths in Oregon, thousands of power outages in Washington and flooded roadways and mudslides in Southern California.
