OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Stephanie Marie Tainter passed away Dec. 6, 2014 in Orlando, Florida, due to complications from heart surgery.
Stephanie was born in Portland on Sept. 14, 1987, to Conrad and Lisa Tainter.
She grew up and attended school in Old Orchard Beach.
Recently, she attended Florida Technical College.
Stephanie enjoyed reading and listening to country music, along with music from the 1980s. She was an avid Green Bay Packers and NASCAR fan. Anyone who knew Stephanie also knew she had a kind and gentle heart, always finding the good in someone.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Conrad Tainter.
She is survived by: her mother, Lisa Lee of Saco; three sisters, Kristyn Reid, who was her best friend, of Old Orchard Beach, Lela Lee of Saco and Charlotte Tainter of Orange City, Florida; one brother, C.J. Tainter of Orange City, Florida; grandparents, Richard and Bertha Lee of Biddeford and Conrad and Rebecca Tainter of Orange City, Florida; a niece and a nephew; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16 at Hobbs Funeral Home, 671 Route 1, Scarborough, with Pastor Jon Twitchell officiating.
