BRUNSWICK — Sara Binkhorst matched her career-high with 32 points to lead Bowdoin to a 75-56 victory over Rhode Island College in a women’s basketball game Sunday.

Binkhorst was 10 of 15 from the field and 9 of 10 from the foul line for Bowdoin (10-2). Shannon Brady added 10 points and seven rebounds.

Jesse Korzec and Devin Hill each had 16 points for RIC (2-9).

(1) SOUTH CAROLINA 75, LSU 51: A’ja Wilson scored 21 points to lift the Gamecocks (14-0) to their 14th straight win, a victory over the Tigers (7-7) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

(2) UCONN 70, ST. JOHN’S 54: Breanna Stewart had 18 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks to lead the Huskies (12-1) past the Red Storm (12-2) in New York.

(4) NOTRE DAME 85, (21) SYRACUSE 74: Jewell Loyd had 25 points and four steals, and Brianna Turner added 20 points and 13 rebounds as the Irish (14-1) beat the Orange (10-4) for the 15th straight time, in Syracuse, New York.

(5) TEXAS A&M 52, ARKANSAS 50: Achiri Ade scored on a putback as time expired to lift the Aggies (14-2) past the Razorbacks (10-4) in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

(7) LOUISVILLE 63, PITTSBURGH 57: Jude Schimmel scored 11 points to help the Cardinals (13-1) beat the Panthers (10-5) in Pittsburgh.

(9) NORTH CAROLINA 72,NORTH CAROLINA STATE 56: Stephanie Mavunga had 23 points and 12 rebounds as the Tar Heels (14-1) beat the Wolfpack (9-5) in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

(10) DUKE 70, WAKE FOREST 63: Elizabeth Williams scored 18 points and the Blue Devils (10-4) beat the Demon Deacons (9-6) in Durham, North Carolina.

(11) KENTUCKY 64, MISSISSIPPI 58: Linnae Harper had 12 points and 14 rebounds and forced a key turnover as the Wildcats (13-2) rallied past the Rebels (11-4) in Lexington, Kentucky.

(17) MISSISSIPPI STATE 53, Missouri 47: Jerica James scored 17 points as the Bulldogs (17-0) beat the Tigers in Columbia, Missouri.

(20) IOWA 79, (16) RUTGERS 72: Melissa Dixon made six 3-pointers to break the Hawkeyes’ career record with 263 and finished with 21 points as Iowa (11-2) beat the Scarlet Knights in Piscataway, New Jersey.

WOMEN’S HOCKEY

AMHERST 3, SOUTHERN MAINE 2: Brenna Sullivan scored with 2:19 remaining as the Lord Jeffs (8-1-1) edged the Huskies (2-4-1) at Gorham.

Katie Couture scored in the third period for Southern Maine to tie the game at 2-2. Talya Bent scored in the second period for USM, with an assist from Lynn Kozlowski.

Emily Flom scored twice for Amherst.

Liz Bergstrom made 27 saves for USM, while Sabrina Dobbins had 10 saves for Amherst.
