BATH — Ruth L. Robson, 89, a resident of the Plant Home, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, at Mid Coast Senior Health Care in Brunswick.

She was born in Orono on April 23, 1925, a daughter of Edmund Sr. and Della Commeau St. Peter. She grew up in Bath and was educated in the Bath schools, graduating from Morse High School class of 1942.

Ruth worked at Bath Iron Works for several years before moving to Billerica, MA, where she worked at Penn Culvert Co. for many years, retiring in 1988.

On July 13, 1991, she married Raymond Robson Sr. and they made their home in Woolwich.

She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a member of VFW Women’s Auxiliary.

Ruth would do anything she could for her family and help anyone in need. She enjoyed Bingo, trips to Foxwoods, playing the slots and Chinese food, but she especially loved her cat “Boots.”

She is predeceased by her husband Raymond, who died on March 2, 2011; sister, Theresa St. Peter; and her brother, Edmund St. Peter Jr.

Surviving are her daughter, Sharon Rammage and her husband John and their daughter Michelle O’Neill, all of New Boston, NH; stepchildren, Raymond Robson Jr. of Woolwich, Swanton Robson and wife Lori of Woolwich, Pamela Robson of Cumberland, Sandra Coolidge and husband Kevin of Rhode Island, Janice Robson of Yarmouth, Margaret MacDonald and husband Matthew of New Hampshire; and several additional grand and great-grandchildren.

A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, at 1 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Bath.
