A Westbrook man was arrested Wednesday in connection with an assault at a home on Brown Street that involved a juvenile victim.
Capt. Michael Nugent said in a press release that Timothy Prins, 47, was charged with domestic violence assault, unlawful sexual contact and gross sexual assault.

He was taken into custody around 3:45 p.m., after police did a followup investigation into an incident that occurred earlier in the day, police said. Nugent said the case remains under investigation and no further information will be released.
Prins is being held without bail in the Cumberland County Jail.
