A tenant was injured after a fire broke out at a three-apartment building at 7 Libby Lane in York on Saturday morning.
York Fire Capt. David Osgood said the man was injured trying to put out the fire in the bedroom of his apartment, which was on the second floor of the three-story building.
Osgood said he didn’t have the man’s name and didn’t know how badly injured he was, but he was taken to York Hospital.
No one else was hurt in the fire, but the building was substantially damaged, Osgood said.
It took firefighters about a half-hour to put out the fire.
He said the cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation.
