Who is to blame for the AFC Championship fiasco? My money is on the NFL leadership.
They knew this would be a competition with a record amount of betting, so what do they do? They allow the teams to control the pressure in the balls. You can’t blame them. When there is a question, their hands are clean.
Luckily, the second half of the game was a bigger victory than the first. So for the Patriots, it proved they were the better team and deserved to win.
Now, the league head (with clean hands) wants to slash and run and show how big and powerful he is. You can’t build such a big stink pile, Mr. Goodell, without some of it rubbing off on you.
