What does “affordable housing” mean? For low-wage or minimum-wage workers, it is not affordable at their income. “Market rate” housing is too expensive. Working also costs: transportation, clothing, laundry, food, etc., can be costly.
These workers are near homeless. How about housing for them?
Assisted living and senior housing are also needed. Social Security is not enough to live on in a free market.
When covering affordable housing, please indicate the dollar amount it costs and the proportion of income one spends.
