OLD ORCHARD BEACH ”“ Dorothea S. “Dee” Seifert died quietly, but with a brave fight, on June 27, 2015 ,while in Columbus, Ohio with her family close at her side.

She was born Sept. 12, 1924, in Biddeford, the daughter of James and Elizabeth McGarrity Williams.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Roy, with whom she has two daughters, Bonnie J. Ray of Bar Harbor, and Elizabeth J. Walters of Columbus, Ohio.

She leaves behind: three beautiful grandchildren, Paige Renske Delinikos and her husband Simon Delinikos, Mark Renske and his wife Nicki Renske, and Derek Renske; and three great-grandchildren, Costa, Camryn, and Kendall, all of Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by: her brother, Clarence Williams; and sisters, Dorothy Ralabate, and Tina Matteau.

Other survivors include: a sister, Velma Williams of Old Orchard Beach; a brother, Earl Williams of South Nyack, New York; and her beloved KiKi.

She married the love of her life, Conrad Seifert of Seneca Falls, New York, who preceded her in death in 2004.

She will always be remembered with her comrade in arms, Tina Matteau, her loving sister, and her best friend in life.

She leaves behind many memories as she lived life to the fullest, with the energy of a woman half her age. Dee had a flair for fashion ”“ the more bling the better. She loved to dance and never missed an opportunity to share in her passion. She will be deeply missed by her daughters and grandchildren.

There will be no visitation. Services will be graveside at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 25 at the family lot in Scarborough Memorial Cemetery, Old Blue Point Road, Scarborough. A reception will follow at 3 p.m. at 1 Wild Dunes Way Clubhouse in Old Orchard Beach.

Arrangements are by the Old Orchard Beach Funeral Home, 36 Portland Ave., Old Orchard Beach.
