SCARBOROUGH – The Scarborough Police Department said that more arrests are likely following the apprehension of three people earlier this week for aggravated trafficking of heroin and crack cocaine, which are Class A felonies.

On Tuesday, Aug. 11, Scarborough police officers, with assistance from agents with the Drug Enforcement Agency, arrested a Scarborough man, along with two others from Massachusetts, according to a press release.

Arrested were Andrew MacDonald, 33, of Scarborough, Shawn Myers, 25, of Wareham, Mass., and Latasha Scott, 23, of Roxbury, Mass.

As the result of the arrest, the press release said, officers seized approximately 52 grams of heroin and 46 grams of crack cocaine, which have an estimated street value of $15,000. Officers also seized approximately $8,000 in cash from Myers.

“The investigation continues and additional arrests are likely,” the release continued.
