I was sorry to read the article in the newspaper “Nova Star’s future is still up in the air” (Aug. 21).
Having just returned this month from a vacation in Pubnico, Nova Scotia, I want to say that one of the highlights of this vacation was riding on the Nova Star to Nova Scotia and back to Portland.
The service was the greatest, the restaurants and entertainment were wonderful. My room on the ship was so comfortable!
Since my return I have had many occasions to speak to my friends about the Nova Star and how great my trip was. I hope it will continue, and I hope people reading this will make the trip.
The price is reasonable, and the Nova Star is the greatest. So take the trip. You’ll love it. I promise! Let’s keep the Nova Star running for many more seasons!
