A Kennebunk man was arrested Saturday afternoon after Maine State Police said they got a tip he had heroin.
Troopers stopped Jason Alexander, 26, on Mile Road in Wells around 4 p.m., said Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
According to McCausland, Alexander had about 30 grams of suspected heroin and a small amount of suspected crack cocaine.
Alexander was charged with aggravated trafficking in heroin. He was taken to the York County Jail, where bail was set at $10,000 cash.
Alexander is due to make his first appearance in court on the charge on Oct. 28.
