I am writing to support Spencer Thibodeau for Portland City Council, District 2.
I am a parent and youth advocate, and I know that Spencer believes in the importance of community initiatives that helps young people. As a young person growing up in Portland, Spencer had firsthand experience of receiving community support to ensure that he stayed on the right track.
Spencer is now an attorney in Portland who hopes to give back to the community that raised him. I think it is safe to say that Spencer embodies the very success that we hope and dream for each of our youth.
I trust that if Spencer is elected, he will work to ensure that other young people have the same opportunities as he did. I hope you will join me in voting for Spencer Thibodeau on Nov. 3.
