Michael Brennan has been my neighbor for more than 10 years.
Through volunteering with his local food initiative, I’ve seen firsthand how his infectious enthusiasm, his tireless energy and his vision for the future can bring together a coalition of interested parties to get things done.
Michael is the only candidate in this race who clearly and consistently responds to questions with substantive answers and concrete ideas for moving forward.
It is easy to offer empty promises for the things we all want, but Mayor Brennan is the only candidate with a clear position on the issues and a proven track record.
I think it was the right thing to do for Portland to move to a full-time mayor elected by the people. I also believe that Michael Brennan was the right person for the job of moving our community through this challenging time of transition.
He still is.
