I was happy to see that you had endorsed Wells Lyons as city councilor for District 2 (Oct. 22).
Like others who attended the candidates forum at Reiche Elementary School on Oct. 20, I was impressed by all three of the candidates.
However, I decided I was behind Wells, for a couple of reasons: one, his signs with “Elect” written across the top in five different languages (very creative!). But, mainly, he has a very solid and thoughtful activist history.
I encourage Portland voters to come out in large numbers Nov. 3 (or vote early).
