BIDDEFORD — Charlotte H. Paradis, 87, of Biddeford, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at St. Andre Health Care Facility.

She was born Dec. 12, 1927, in Biddeford, a daughter of Michael and Alice Twomey Mogan. She was educated locally, graduating from Biddeford High School in the Class of 1945. She received her business degree from Burdett College in Boston.

In September of 1952, she married Raoul Paradis in St. Mary’s Church in Biddeford.

Charlotte was employed for more than 20 years with the Maine Unemployment Office.

She was a member of the former St. Mary’s Sodality. She was also an avid flower gardener.

She is preceded in death by: her sister, Eleanor Mogan in 2011.

She is survived by: her husband of 63 years, Raoul Paradis of Biddeford; two sons, John M. Paradis and his wife Nancy of Rochester, New Hampshire, and Peter D. Paradis of Biddeford; four grandchildren, Sarah and Shawn Paradis of Rochester, New Hampshire, Nathan Paradis and his wife Amanda, and Keith Paradis, all of Biddeford.

Visiting hours will be 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Anne’s Chapel of St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
