Blocked burglary
10/26 at 12:57 p.m. Sgt. Mark Gilliam and Officer William Collins responded to a burglar alarm at a Taylor Farm Lane residence. Entry to the home had been gained by force, activating an alarm which likely sent the intruder or intruders away. Nothing in the home was found to be missing or disturbed, according to police.

11/1 at 3:38 p.m. Complaint of smoke in hallway on Elm Street.
