Also last week, Cheverus senior Jacob Griffin of South Portland, joined by his parents, John and Devdra, signs his NLOI to attend and swim at Providence College in Rhode Island. Griffin, also a three-time state champion, holds school records in the 200 and 400 freestyle relay. Grifin was the Class A champion in the 50 free and runner-up in the 100 free at last year’s state meet.
