Biddeford police said Monday that a 28-year-old local man died in a motorcycle crash on Sevigny Lane on Sunday at 12:47 p.m.

Michael Perry of Hope Lane in Biddeford was riding a 1999 Honda CBR 600 motorcycle when he lost control, went off the road and crashed, police said. He was not wearing a helmet.

Perry was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation by the department’s accident reconstruction unit.
