Now that you have cleaned up the comics section, it is time to clean up the Bill Nemitz section and put it on the Opinion page where it belongs. It is long overdue.

I’ve been around for over 90 years, and I have never seen such one-sided animosity coming from a columnist outside the editorial and op-ed pages.

His comments last Wednesday (“Anti-Muslim talk in Maine coming from the clueless,” Dec. 9) were sneering insults, aimed at readers who don’t adhere to his political point of view.

I read the Opinion columns most days and Fridays, when you do print at least two segments from the other side. Thanks for that. Move Nemitz.
