I read with keen interest Monday’s commentary by Jerome A. Collins (“Maine Voices: Maine’s entire court system, not just probate, needs an impartial review”).

He is so correct. Those of us who have experienced the Maine court system firsthand are all too well aware how greatly a serious study needs to be done.

Those who have not experienced the system (the majority of the population) are totally unaware. For this reason, it is incumbent upon the Press Herald to keep the drums beating until something is done.

Thank you so much for your attention concerning this matter. The future well-being of the judicial system is at stake, and the system should be reformed.
