A Lyman man was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury crash Thursday night after he crashed his car into the house at 99 Cat Mousam Road in Kennebunk, police say.
Marcus J. Smith, 25, hit three parked vehicles before hitting the home, said Kennebunk police Lt. Eric O’Brien. Three people were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash was reported at 7:10 p.m.
Smith fled the crash scene, police say, but was apprehended by Kennebunk officers, who were assisted by a North Berwick Police Department dog.
Smith was taken to the York County Jail, where he was charged with failure to give notice of an accident by quickest means and leaving the scene of a personal injury crash.
