Tom Gilmore’s photographs are on display at the Louis B. Goodall Memorial Library, 952 Main St., Sanford, through the end of January. Gilmore photographs conserved lands in Maine and New Hampshire. While Acadia National Park and the White Mountains are well known, Gilmore is also developing a portfolio of photographs of land conserved by local organizations such as the Great Works Regional Land Trust, where he is a board member, and the York and Kittery land trusts.

“The Snow Queen” by Hans Christian Andersen, adapted by Portland Stage will be on stage today at noon at 25A Forest Ave. The production will feature original music by Hans Indigo Spencer with lyrics based on poems by Emily Dickinson and directed by Artistic Director Anita Stewart. Ogunquit Performing Arts announces the 15th annual Classic Film Series. Films will be shown at the Dunaway Center, 23 School St. in Ogunquit on the first Sunday of the month at 2 p.m. through May. Alfred Hitchcock’s “Once More, With Feeling” will be shown on Sunday, Jan. 3 at 2 p.m. This is a 1960 British comedy starring Yul Brynner and Kay Kendall, where a London symphony conductor runs into difficulties with his harpist wife and mistress. The plot thickens amid the music of Franz Liszt, Ludwig van Beethoven and Richard Wagner.
