BRUNSWICK — Shannon Brady scored nine of her game-high 25 points in the first quarter, and Bowdoin College (9-2) rolled to an 84-44 win over Regis College (7-2) in a women’s basketball game on Tuesday night.

Kate Kerrigan, Lauren Petit and Abigail Kelly each had 10 points for the Polar Bears, who led 23-10 after one quarter. Kerrigan added eight assists and four steals.

UNE 78, GORDON 40: Lauren Hayden scored 14 points with nine rebounds and four steals, and the Nor’easters (6-3, 3-0 Commonwealth Coast) pulled away from Gordon (4-7, 0-4) at Wenham, Massachusetts.

Meghan Gribbin added 13 points, while Olivia Shaw had 11 points and seven rebounds.

BATES 76, LASELL 47: Nina Davenport scored 22 points, Chelsea Nason had 15, and the Bobcats (3-7) made 13 3-pointers in a win against the Lasers (7-5) at Newton, Massachusetts.

Davenport and Nason each made four 3-pointers.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

COLBY 115, PINE MANOR 97: Pat Dickert and Patrick Stewart each had 23 points as the Mules (10-1) beat Pine Manor (7-6) at Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, for a 10 straight win.

Ryan Jann had 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists, and Chris Hudnut had 14 points and eight boards for Colby.

BOWDOIN 87, BRIDGEWATER ST. 67: Lucas Hausman scored 35 points on 13-of-22 shooting as Bowdoin (6-3) handled the Bears (3-7) at home.

Matt Palecki added 14 points for Bowdoin.

GORDON 83, UNE 64: Sam Johnson and Noah Szilagyi each scored 18 points to lead the host Fighting Scots (5-6, 2-2 CCC) past the Nor’easters (6-4, 1-2).

Ben Judson scored 17 points for the Nor’easters. CJ Autry added 14 points and 10 rebounds.

JOHNSON & WALES 93, ST. JOSEPH’S 51: Quinn Richardson-Newton scored 14 points for the Monks (3-8, 0-4 GNAC), who fell into a 47-16 hole against the Wildcats (10-1, 4-0 GNAC) at Providence, Rhode Island.

MEN’S HOCKEY

USM 2, COLBY 2: Kevin Doherty got the tying goal early in the third period for the Mules (4-4-3) at Waterville.

Devin Albert also scored for Colby. Brett Norman and PM Lapointe scored for the Huskies (5-7-1).

WOMEN’S HOCKEY

SACRED HEART 2, USM 0: Casey Stathopoulos and Megan Finley scored second-period goals, and the Pioneers (4-5-2) got past Southern Maine (2-8-1) at Gorham.
