BIDDEFORD — Dylan Bengston scored a pair of goals and Blaise Healy collected a goal and three assists Friday night as the University of New England rolled to a 9-2 men’s hockey win over Southern Maine.

Armand Uomoleale and Ryan Quinn added a goal and an assist for UNE (11-5-2, 7-4-1 NEHC), which set a program record for wins in a season. The Nor’easters got five goals in the second period to break a 2-2 tie.

Bob Ganley and Jimmy Currier each had a goal and an assist for USM (5-12-1, 2-10).

BOSTON COLLEGE 8, UMASS 0: Jerry York became the first college hockey coach to reach 1,000 career wins as the Eagles (16-4-3, 9-1-3 Hockey East) beat UMass (7-13-4, 2-8-4) in Amherst, Massachusetts.

BOWDOIN 1, WILLIAMS 0: Cody Todesco scored early in the second period and Peter Cronin made 33 saves for the Polar Bears (6-7-3, 3-5-3 NESCAC) against the Ephs (10-4-1, 6-2-1 NESCAC) in Brunswick.

MIDDLEBURY 4, COLBY 2: Second-period goals by Jonathan Sdao and Scott Fenwick weren’t enough as Colby (5-7-4, 3-6-2 NESCAC) lost to the Panthers (5-6-4, 4-1-4) at Waterville.

WOMEN’S HOCKEY

UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND 2, NICHOLS 1: Melissa Boudreau scored on a power play 1:49 into overtime as the Nor’easters (9-5-2, 4-4-1 Commonwealth Coast) edged the Bison (2-14, 0-8) in Biddeford.

MIDDLEBURY 2, BOWDOIN 0: Maddie Winslow scored both goals for the Panthers (8-3-3, 4-0-3 NESCAC) against the Polar Bears (6-7-1, 3-4) at Middlebury, Vermont.

HOLY CROSS 5, SOUTHERN MAINE 1: Cassandra Sherman scored for USM (2-13-1, 1-7-1 NEHC) in a loss to the Crusaders (14-2, 6-2) at Gorham.

AMHERST 4, COLBY 1: Meghan Fortier scored the only goal for the Mules (5-8-3, 3-5-1 NESCAC) against the Lord Jeffs (10-1-3, 6-1-2) in Waterville.

COLBY 72, TRINITY 63: Carylanne Wolfington scored her 1,000th career point as the Mules (10-6, 3-1 NESCAC) beat Trinity (9-5, 0-4) in Hartford.

AMHERST 78, BOWDOIN 48: Marle Curle scored 14 points for Bowdoin (12-5, 2-2 NESCAC) in a loss to the Lord Jeffs (17-0, 4-0) at Amherst, Massachusetts.

CONNECTICUT COLLEGE 70, BATES 53: Bernadette Connors had 17 points for Bates (5-11, 1-4 NESCAC) in a loss to the Camels (14-2, 4-1) in Lewiston.

AMHERST 92, BOWDOIN 78: Despite 32 points from Lucas Hausman, the Polar Bears (8-6, 1-3 NESCAC) couldn’t hold on to a 17-point lead against the Lord Jeffs (14-2, 4-0) in Brunswick.

CONNECTICUT COLLEGE 73, BATES 62: Mike Boornazian finished with 15 points for Bates (9-8, 2-3 NESCAC) in a loss to the Camels (12-5, 3-2) at New London, Connecticut.

TRINITY 62, COLBY 60: Sam Willson and Patrick Stewart each had 17 points for Colby (11-5, 0-4 NESCAC) against the Bantams (13-4, 4-0) in Waterville.
