The executive director of the Maine Lobster Dealers’ Association has joined the staff of a York-based lobster distributor.

Annie Tselikis has joined Maine Coast Co., which reported more than $40 million in global lobster sales in 2015. She will be the company’s first marketing manager, according to a release from company owner Tom Adams.

In addition to serving as the executive director of the lobster dealer association, Tselikis also serves on the board of the Maine Lobster Marketing Collaborative. She said she intends to keep her part-time executive director job with the dealers’ association and her position with the marketing collaborative.

Two other executives were recently hired by the company. Jonathan Seavey and Alan Leck were hired in November to help with the company’s growing sales. Both have been employed in the lobster industry for more than 25 years.

Founded in 2011, Maine Coast Co. has the capacity to hold 150,000 pounds of lobster for shipping, and employs 30. In 2015, it won the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Small Business Exporter of the Year for Maine award.
