Local author Joseph Hardy will discuss his book “History of a Maine ‘Little River,’ ” detailing how seemingly insignificant, free-flowing streams once were valued as sites for sawmills, grist mills, fulling mills and carding mills. The Brown Bag Lunch talk is designed for the community to connect with local authors in an intimate, casual setting.
