A 53-year-old Scarborough man was arrested Friday and charged with multiple sex crimes, Portland police said.
Vincent E. Guerrero was charged Friday with four counts of gross sexual assault, unlawful sexual touching, unlawful sexual contact and sexual exploitation of a minor.
The victim was under 18 and known to him, Portland Police Lt. James Sweatt said on Monday.
An arrest was made and search warrants executed by police within days of the crimes being reported, Sweatt said.
Guerrero’s photo hasn’t been released because the case remains under investigation.
He appeared in district court in Portland, where Judge E. Mary Kelly ordered him held on $100,000 bail.
His next scheduled court appearance is May 25, according to the court.
