Early in his administration, President Obama exploited a legislative supermajority, and without a single Republican vote in favor of the Affordable Care Act, he changed more than health care. He alienated Republicans and drove a spike through this country that will resonate for years to come. Enter Donald Trump.
Trump is the anti-Obama. Sir Isaac Newton’s Third Law of Motion applies: “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” Obama shows little regard for the opinions of Republicans, so Trump shows little regard for the opinions of Democrats. Obama is articulate; Trump is not. Obama is politically correct; Trump is not. And so on.
To understand Trump, one first must understand Obama. Forces come in pairs. The direction of the second object is opposite of the first object – equal/opposite – action/reaction.
