After reading in the March 24 Press Herald about the Maine Senate’s approval of L.D. 1572, which permits tenants to retain guns in their apartments over their landlord’s objections, plus all of the discussion in our country today supporting the carrying of concealed weapons into schools, churches and public places, I cannot help come to the conclusion that the American people have become paranoid, thinking that we are apt to be assaulted or attacked at any moment wherever we are.
What a sorry commentary on the state of mind in our nation today!
