I saw Susan Sarandon’s interview with Chris Hayes that Greg Kesich wrote about in his March 30 column and applauded the many reasons why she despises Hillary Clinton and is reluctant to vote for her. In fact, she made me rethink the decision I’d made about probably having to vote for her if she’s the Democratic nominee.

What galls me about Kesich’s column is why he thinks people prefer Sanders over her: “He’s like your grandfather who visits on the holidays; she’s like the mother who’s always mad at you.” How could Kesich reduce the differences between those two to such a facile, ridiculous statement?

She is a liar, a rapacious entitled narcissist, who has fought and clawed her way to her ultimate dream of being the first woman president. That is solely her reason for running. She and her husband are cut from the same cloth and forged their bond based on it: “First Bill, then Hill.”

The woman has no moral compass. She voted for the Iraq war because it was expedient, and she boasts of her friendship with that warmonger Henry Kissinger. Oh, yes, she also “reluctantly” supports the death penalty.

Bernie Sanders is running because he is gravely concerned about the future of our country. I need not go on about his decency and moral views.

For decent, progressive people, voting for Hillary Clinton would be the ultimate in voting for the lesser of two evils. She too is evil. Your column implies otherwise.
