NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Kat Gadbois and Elizabeth Elcock combined for eight goals and seven assists, and St. Joseph’s College broke the school record for goals in one game as the Monks rolled to a 27-0 women’s lacrosse victory Saturday against Albertus Magnus.

The Monks (7-2, 2-0 Great Northeast Athletic Conference) also set a school record with 46 points and tied another record with 26 draw controls against the Falcons (0-5, 0-2).

Gadbois, Elcock and Elyse Caiazzo each finished with four goals. Gadbois and Caiazzo converted three times apiece during a nine-goal flurry in the opening 10 minutes. The lead grew to 18-0 by halftime.

Kelsey Dumond finished with three goals and six assists, and Kara Kelly also scored three goals.

BATES 8, HAMILTON 7: Sydney Howard scored three goals to lead the 13th-ranked Bobcats (9-1, 4-1 NESCAC) over the 12th-ranked Continentals (6-3, 2-3) in Lewiston.

Teal Otley added a pair of goals and Drew Barry had two assists for Bates.

TRINITY 12, BOWDOIN 9: Lindsay Picard scored two of her four goals during a second-half rally by the Polar Bears (4-5, 0-5 NESCAC), but Trinity (7-2, 4-1) held on for a win at Hartford, Connecticut.

Megan O’Connor contributed three goals for Bowdoin.

COLBY 7, WESLEYAN 3: Emilie Klein scored a pair of second-half goals as the Mules (6-1, 4-1 NESCAC) pulled away from Wesleyan (3-5, 0-4) at Middletown, Connecticut.

Lexie Perticone also got two goals for Colby, and Izzy Scribano stopped six shots.

EASTERN CONNECTICUT STATE 8, SOUTHERN MAINE 6: Sarah Pelligrinelli scored four goals in the first half and Sam Campobasso finished with two goals and two assists for USM (1-5, 0-1 Little East), but the Warriors (5-4, 1-0) scored the final three goals to rally for a win at Gorham.

ROGER WILLIAMS 19, UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND 4: Keilin Hogan scored four of her six goals in the first half as the Hawks (6-3, 2-0 Commonwealth Coast) built a 13-2 halftime lead against the Nor’easters (5-4, 1-1) at Bristol, Rhode Island.

Natasha Nary, Korinne Bohunsky, Olivia Carpenter and Paige St. George were the goal scorers for UNE.

MEN’S LACROSSE

BOWDOIN 10, TRINITY 8: Matthew Crowell and Clayton Wright each scored three goals to lead the 14th-ranked Polar Bears (7-1, 4-1 NESCAC) over the Bantams (2-6, 1-4) in Brunswick.

Shawn Daly added two goals and an assist, and Daniel Buckman and Brandon Rothman also scored for Bowdoin.

BATES 11, HAMILTON 3: Max Breschi scored four goals to lead the seventh-ranked Bobcats (8-1, 4-1 NESCAC) over the Continentals (3-5, 1-4) in Clinton, New York.

Bates also got three goals from Jack Allard, and a goal and two assists from Charlie Hildebrand.

WESLEYAN 15, COLBY 8: The Cardinals (6-2, 2-2 NESCAC) scored five consecutive goals in the fourth quarter to pull away from the Mules (2-7, 0-5) at Waterville.

Colton Michel led Colby with three goals and two assists. Kevin Seller also recorded three goals.

ST. JOSEPH’S 11, ANNA MARIA 3: Michael Finn had three goals and an assist to lead the Monks (4-5, 1-1 GNAC) over the Amcats (1-8, 0-1) in Paxton, Massachusetts.

St. Joseph’s scored seven straight goals spanning the second and third quarters to take a 9-2 lead.

Cam Boucher notched two goals and two assists, and Matt Donell, Brendan Barrett, Joe O’Reilly and Jake O’Brien each added a goal and an assist.

Connor Trainor made 10 saves for the Monks.

EASTERN CONNECTICUT STATE 9, SOUTHERN MAINE 7: Jeff Urmston scored four goals for USM (4-3, 0-1 Little East) in a loss to the Corsairs (5-4, 1-0) at Marshfield, Connecticut.

ROGER WILLIAMS 13, UNE 9: Will Siefert scored three goals, and Nick Gagnon added two goals and four assists for the Hawks (7-3, 3-0 Commonwealth Coast) in a win over the Nor’easters (6-5, 1-1) in Bristol, Rhode Island.

Dan Auger scored three goals for the Nor’easters. Andrew Curro had a goal and two assists.

BASEBALL

STONY BROOK SWEEPS MAINE: Jeremy Giles scored on a fielder’s choice in the seventh inning to give Stony Brook (10-12, 3-1 America East) a 3-2 win and a doubleheader sweep against the Black Bears (5-20, 0-5) in Stony Brook, New York.

In Game 1, Stony Brook broke a scoreless tie with three runs in the sixth inning, then added five in the seventh on the way to an 11-0 win.

Colin Ridley and Brenden Geary each had two hits for Maine in the opener. The Black Bears wasted a strong start in Game 2 from Logan Fullmer, who allowed one run on six hits in six innings.

BOWDOIN SPLITS WITH TRINITY: Colby Joncas and Luke Cappellano each had two hits and an RBI as Bowdoin (9-5, 1-2 NESCAC) salvaged a doubleheader split with a 5-1 win over the Bantams (7-10, 2-1) in Hartford, Connecticut.

Ben Osterholtz picked up the win in Game 2, allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out two in 61/3 innings.

Brandon Lopez and Nick Sadler collected the only hits for Bowdoin in the opener, which Trinity won, 4-0.

TUFTS SWEEPS BATES: Dan Kelly drove in the winning run in the eighth of the opener and Andrew David pitched a shutout in the second game as Tufts (9-3, 2-0 NESCAC) earned two wins in Lewiston, 3-2 and 9-0.

Conor Reenstierna drove in both runs for Bates (7-10, 0-2) in Game 1. Ryan McCarthy and Asher MacDonald each had two hits in Game 2.

SOFTBALL

MAINE SPLITS WITH STONY BROOK: Rachel Carlson and Janelle Bouchard each drove in two runs as the Black Bears (12-13, 1-1 America East) earned a doubleheader split with a 6-2 win in a game called after six innings because of darkness in Stony Brook, New York.

Stony Brook (11-17-1, 3-2) won the opener, 4-0.

ALBERTUS MAGNUS SWEEPS ST. JOSEPH’S: The Monks (5-9) were held to five hits in each game as they dropped a home doubleheader against Albertus Magnus (11-3), 2-0 and 3-0.

Mariah Harrison and Melodie Bailey each had two hits for St. Joseph’s in the opener, and Katherine Collette collected two hits in Game 2.

WILLIAMS SWEEPS COLBY: Brooke Bovier and Dana Cohen held Colby (5-7, 0-2 NESCAC) hitless as Williams (14-5, 2-0) won 11-3 in five innings in the first game of a NESCAC doubleheader at Waterville.

In Game 2, Mackenzie Murphy pitched a complete game and hit a grand slam to lead Williams to a 12-3 win.

Colby got three hits from Grace Farnkoff and two apiece from Skylar Labbe and Katie McLaughlin.

MAINE-PRESQUE ISLE SWEEPS SMCC: Carly Bell and Hannah Williams combined for nine RBI in the first game as UMaine-Presque (12-4) earned a pair of wins over Southern Maine Community College (2-7), 19-4 and 7-2 in South Portland.
