God gave us all the freedom to choose from right or wrong.

Through the prophets, we were given the Ten Commandments. We’re also commanded to love God with all our being, and to love our neighbor as ourselves.

It’s OK to hate sin, but not those who are enslaved to sin.

It’s stated, “Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.” By imposing our religious views through imposing laws, we’re showing not love, but judgment, doing the opposite of what God originally intended.

I am not above being judgmental. It is a constant struggle. I asked God’s and others’ forgiveness for doing so.

Be a light, not a lawmaker. God is the only one worthy to be praised and make those judgments.
