How can women support Hillary Clinton for president, a woman who’s betrayed the very tenets of feminism?

This woman stood beside a man who, as the most powerful person in the world, lured a starry-eyed White House intern into the Oval Office. How could she support a man who swore to the American public “I never had sex with that woman,” and was later shamefully impeached for, among other things, lying about that scurrilous behavior?

If, as I was taught, rape is basically not merely a sex act, but rather one of a powerful male exercising domination over a less powerful woman, what can we call that horrendous act by the president of the United States over that powerless young woman?

How can this be anything but blind ambition on the part of Hillary Clinton? How can any woman accept that kind of public shame on behalf of herself, her daughter and the rest of us? She says she is one to “forgive,” but what she really wants is for us to forget the unforgivable acts of both her and her husband.

Well, I, for one, don’t intend to forget. It’s one of the many reasons I have proudly cast my vote for Bernie Sanders.
