SACO — Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution donated over $975 to support the Westbrook School Department’s first community wide reading challenge, “90 Days of Reading, 90 Days of Wonder.” The reading challenge encourages the Westbrook community to read the book “Wonder” by Raquel J. Palacio, which brings readers through a story about resilience, acceptance and the power of kindness.

Through SBSI’s donation, the Westbrook School Department will be able to provide over 90 “Wonder” books to students, including copies translated into Arabic, French and Spanish to encourage international students to participate as well.
