It’s just not right or fair for town officials to continue allowing our one and only Gov. LePage a one-way bullhorn to spread his wacky upside-down economic message and whatever else passes through his brain while his lips are moving.
Town officials should provide a reasonable opportunity for two-way communications and build into these town hall forums a mechanism whereby the public in attendance is allowed to ask questions and counter the governor’s wacky diatribe.
One thought on how to accomplish this: Assign a handful of uniformed and armed local police to set a cordon around a microphone to allow citizens a reasonable two-way forum. Who knows, maybe the governor will actually listen and learn. Alternatively, maybe he’ll pack it in and go back under his rock.
