I have a rather simple question: How in the world can Sen. Susan Collins possibly decide it is acceptable to endorse Donald Trump for president?
Except that he is a Republican, what other redeeming trait does he possibly have that reflects Maine and Maine values?
Does he support women? No. He humiliates and demeans women. How about minorities? No. His hate-filled rhetoric is notorious. What about the folks making a minimum wage? Will he be there for them? No. He is wishy-washy at best about raising the minimum wage.
The list goes on and on. Does anyone really believe that once (heaven forbid) he got into office, he’d be anything but an embarrassment?
Sen. Collins represents Maine. I expect her to stand up for our values. She is a huge disappointment.
